This post will teach you how to avoid the most common mistakes people make with Argus software. We are going to go over some common habits that people have when they use Argus and what pitfalls these habits can lead them into, and then provide a list of 10 tricks for overcoming those errors.

This post is not going to be as detailed as the blog posts about Argus features, or even some of our other tech blogs. Instead this is a list of simple things you can do in order to avoid mistakes with Argus and keep your work moving forward without any gaps that might otherwise creep up.

One trick for avoiding errors when using Argus software: Always remember that you have an undo button! This is especially important for those who use their laptop at home or in coffee shops, where they might lose connectivity intermittently.

Make sure you’re backing up before exporting file formats with sensitive data like .xls or excel files! Exporting them can cause information loss, which is why backups should be automatic whenever possible.

Always use caution when working with software that is not familiar. If you are using software from outside your company’s proprietary system and don’t know how to do something within it, find someone who does before proceeding! You’re following these best practices:

Tip: One of the most common workplace accidents at Argus Software was caused by paper cuts. You may be wondering why we’re telling you this now, but remember our earlier tip about taking precautionary steps for ergonomics while typing on keyboards at desks.
