This is 7700 matapeake, a winery and distillery located in the heart of Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. The name comes from the Greek word for “vineyard”, and the winery is dedicated to producing high-quality, award-winning wines, spirits, and meads. The company is the only Virginia winery that uses exclusively natural and organic ingredients, and their wines are aged for a minimum of 2 years in oak barrels.
A winery that produces quality products that are both natural and organic is a winery to keep your eye on. That’s why I’m thrilled that the company has chosen to use their name for their flagship product, brandywine. I know it’s a little too good to be true, so let’s hope they’re not just another “wine company” that’s making a bunch of wine for the sake of making wine. If they are, I think we would definitely be interested.
