A successful strategy for dusting?

What are some of the good spots to smoke out an area without being seen by enemies on Mirage and Inferno with examples from skilled players such as “sovereign”? Remember that there can be more than one spot where it is possible to do so, but timing is everything! So let us start our analysis of smoking places with.

Tunnels:

Watch out for enemies coming in from the side. Be careful around corners or overpasses, as they can be an ambush location. Remember to scout your spot before you go into it!

Pit:

The pit is a great place to smoke and take potshots at people who are unaware of their surroundings due to its height advantage. It’s also good if you’re looking for close range combat with teammates guarding on top (or below). However, there are plenty of places where someone can storm right up onto players smoking in the pit  so watch your back while doing this one!

These are just three spots that might work well; however, every map has different locations that will suit each player’s play style. Experiment with all the different spots and let us know which ones work best for you!

Doors:

Doors can be a great place to smoke, as they offer good visibility straight down the hall into most of its length. It also provides an ideal spot to make use of your shotgun due to it being so close range. The downside is that doors are often crowded at times or guarded by enemies who already hold position inside them before any combat begins!
