This birdhouse kit is my best buy on any budget. I used to use them all the time. I didn’t know they existed until I accidentally found one at a garage sale. I’ve been using them regularly for several years now and they still hold up and come in handy. This is a great starter kit for any woodworker or DIYer.
The kit comes with a set of 2x4s 1-1/2″ x 4″ and 2x6s 1-1/2″ x 6″ lumber, 8 bolts, and 1 1/2″ square-section angle iron. The kit includes a 1×8 wood screwdriver.
I bought mine at a garage sale for $5. The one I used last time has the same size as this one. You can find them at a lot of local home improvement stores.

It’s a strong size, so it does everything we wanted it to do.
These wood pieces are made for cutting in a circular pattern. So you can make a birdhouse by cutting a rectangle and then making two circles in the middle. You can also make a birdhouse by cutting a rectangle and then making a square in the middle. In both cases, you can make a birdhouse that has a rounded shape.
The 1-12 is a 1/4 inch thick piece of 1-12. We got the 1-12 because we are interested in wood that is 1/4 inch thick.
We love this wood because of its smooth grain and a nice smooth finish. While we don’t make the birdhouse kit just for the looks, we do love the look of it. It’s just as functional. You can use it to make a birdhouse, it’s just a little bit more challenging.
When we think of a birdhouse, we think of a traditional round-headed birdhouse that will be inside a birdhouse. But while we love this round-headed birdhouse, we also love the square shaped birdhouse version. It’s a little different look and is a little more functional.
