I’ve seen it called “cardboard shirt forms,” but that’s a little misleading. This is actually a simple way to make cardboard into a form that you can use to create 3-D paper models.

The tutorial is pretty long, but it’s well-worth it. I especially like that it has a clear description of the steps on how to make a shirt, and that the steps are described so you can follow along. Good points, thanks! I think I would use this tutorial if I had a real disability like a visual impairment. I would like to see how one makes a shirt without the use of any sewing tools or using other materials like construction paper or foam.

Although this tutorial is very well written, it’s not necessarily the easiest thing to follow. I think it would be really cool to have some examples of what you can do with cardboard to create a shirt form.
I did a little research and have come up with some ideas for what a shirt form can look like. Take a look at to see more examples. I think this could lead to more discussion about what the actual function of a shirt form is, especially if we start talking about what it can actually look like.
I think this is an interesting topic that we need to have more discussion on because it could be used as inspiration. If we can figure out a way to create a shirt form, it could be an amazing tool for creating new clothing from a blank piece of cardboard. For example, we could take a box of paper and cut out a shirt form. Then we could cut out a shirt from the shirt form and attach it to a regular shirt by sewing it together.
