I think the real issue is what we are doing online and not what we are buying. For example, if I am buying a new car, I will almost certainly be on the Internet, looking at sites like Craigslist, eBay, and other websites. I might be on a laptop, but I may also be on a phone, as well. I am also probably talking to people, and I might be on Skype or an instant messenger.
