I think the mental health and wellness field has gotten a bit too focused on the need to get an “I’m going to be okay” mindset, and too focused on the need to be “better” for a quick fix. The reality is, we all struggle with all types of mental health issues. Whether it’s depression, anxiety, or ADHD, there are many ways in which we can still be in pain, suffering, or even worse.

Editor K: I am the type of person who will organize my entire home (including closets) based on what I need for vacation. Making sure that all vital supplies are in one place, even if it means putting them into a carry-on and checking out early from work so as not to miss any flights!
