I’m not sure what the last few years have done to our lives, but I know if we don’t stop and think about how hard we work, it becomes harder to do it. That said, I still love the thought of making a beautiful thing with my hands. It is one of those things that feels good at the time, and it can be a very satisfying craft to do.
A craftsman in the craftsman’s world wants things to be done “the right way”. It’s why we choose to work with a hammer, why we work with paint, why we work with a soldering iron, why we work with a soldering gun. But we also work with our hands in a way that we are often unaware of.
This is one of those things that makes me really uncomfortable. I have a lot of hobbies and a lot of the time I like doing them the right way. I am the proud owner of a hammer. I am a hammer-maker. I am not even sure if the hammer I have is the same hammer that I had when I was a child. It’s very frustrating to hear how people make things and end up with an unwanted hammer.
At this point it is not clear if it is a hammer or a soldering gun that we work with. Like most of our hobbies, we use our hands to do the job. But we do it in a way that we don’t always fully understand. We use the hammer for making holes in things, the soldering gun for soldering things together, and the magnifying glass for getting at an object’s fine details.
The hammer-and-soldering-gun combo is great because it allows us to work on something with two very different things in our hands, it’s not a one-to-one relationship. We can work on the same object with two different hammer-and-soldering-gun combinations, and still not be lost in the middle.
Because we use two different tools at once the hammer and the soldering gun are the tools that we use the most. I always say to myself, “I only use the magnifier when I’m soldering, if I only use the soldering gun when I’m hammering I won’t be able to see the details.
The same is true if we want something to be small enough to grab and hold.
I use both my hammer and the soldering gun, and I only use my magnifying glass when I’m soldering. I also use my soldering gun and the magnifying glass when I’m hammering, and I only use my hammer when Im soldering. But I only use my magnifying glass in the process of soldering, and I only use my soldering gun when Im working on the soldering.
Well, that’s about the only real difference I’ve seen between me and the rest of the world. I, like you, will go through the motions, but I don’t actually do things at the moment. I just sit there with my hammer and my soldering gun, doing the same thing over and over again. This is the only difference I’ve seen between myself and the rest.
It’s funny because the only difference that I have ever noticed between myself and the world is my hammer. My hammer is not the only thing that I use when I work on soldering anything. Actually, the only difference between myself and the world is that I use my soldering gun when Im soldering. Thats really the only difference Ive ever seen.
