I have to get out of the house a bit when I’m building so I’ve been meaning to make a few light house crafts with my kids. I’m making a new set of candles and lanterns, a paper lantern and a candle lantern, and a new set of lanterns for the dining room. I’m always looking for new light house crafts to add to my repertoire.
Candle lanterns are one of my favorite things to make. Especially those made from recycled paper.
Most of them are made from recycled paper, so you’re basically reusing the same paper just wrapped in different colors. A good alternative to candle lanterns would be lanterns made from paper mache. These are basically the same thing, with paper mache pieces being painted with different colors to create a variety of designs.
Lanterns are the best way to bring a little color to a room without making it look like a room full of plastic bottles. They can be a fun alternative to candle lanterns.
Just like candles, lanterns can be a good alternative to decorations in your home. There are a variety of styles and colors to choose from. You can make simple lanterns, or have them be a little more sophisticated. I have a couple of different ones that are just painted paper mache with one of those cool paint chips that cover surfaces but still look like actual lanterns. It’s really fun to see the whole thing come together in a new way.
I think it’s especially fun to see lanterns made of paper mache because they look like the real thing. They’re made to be displayed in a way you can actually see the details of the surface and the colors of the paper. They’re also pretty cheap to make, which means they’re a great project to do while you’re putting together your garage sale or other project for the summer.
Another fun project is to have lanterns that you can string together to be used as a light source in your garage, or even as streetlights.
The best part is that they come in different sizes and shapes as well. For example, one lantern will be great for an island or a cottage, while another will be great for something like a museum.
The project of making lanterns is pretty easy. Just take some string and tie a few lights to the end, then string a few lanterns together to make a light fixture. You can even make a light fixture without stringing it at all.
It’s a great project to make with students because they get to work with plastic and make something with it. I’ve made lanterns with plastic by using the plastic to cover some light bulbs, then placing the bulbs in the lantern. The plastic will stay in the lantern after it’s done. The lights look great too, but I think they could be made better with a simple metal frame and a bit of paint.
