It’s a real shame that many business centers have turned into stores. A shop that is just a few rooms with a few chairs, a few counters, and some tools? That’s a store. A store that has a few customers and a few employees? That’s a business.

This is my opinion as someone who has been a long time customer of Machi Koro. If you want to know what I think about the business center, you have to ask my wife, Tania. She is the owner, and she has been a customer of Machi Koro for many years now, so she knows a ton about the area.

It is true that some business centers have turned into stores. I have seen some of these in my travels to Japan. But the fact that a shop with a few customers and a few employees has turned into a store is something else altogether. It is the beginning of a new paradigm. It is what is called a “super-store.” This is a store that has a few customers and a few employees, and the owners are the owners of the store.

This is the next phase of the concept. A shop that has a few customers and a few employees will also have a super-owner who will be the owner of the whole shop. And this is where the concept really takes off. Because most super-stores don’t have a super-owner, they are just a bunch of people. They are not really the owners of the store.
