I have to admit, I’ve seen some pretty weird rit dyes over the last few years. I’m not ashamed to say that I’ve seen many “racy” ones that are too hot and too bright for my tastes. But I’ve also seen something that I would have never expected to see in a beauty product: red dye.
Ive mentioned before the fact that I prefer my rit dyes not to be too dark. I like a fair bit of color in my makeup and can stand to be called “a shade too pale”. However I think the color of certain rit dyes can be too bright and that can lead to some pretty nasty looking stains. But at least now you can easily get rit dyes that are both flattering and flattering for your skin tone and lips.
rit dyes are available in a wide range of shades and shades of colors. Colors may be in “neutral” shades, which are the same color as your regular foundation, but they are less intense. The more intense the color, the more likely you might want to use it as a highlighter or blush.
rit dyes help tone the color out of a base color. You can tone the color out of a base color by adding another color to it. Or you can make the color more intense by adding more of it. Or you can add it as a shimmer. That last option can really enhance the impact of your color. But if you want more intense, you can add shimmer to it.
For this look, we used a pink foundation with two shades of pink shimmer. It was the perfect shade to accent your hue and add a little more of that extra pop you don’t want to use everyday.
I’ve got to say, rit dye cream is one of those colors that I’m surprised has not been mentioned more often. It’s definitely a great option if you need to change up your basic shade of pink. It comes in two shades – one is light pink and the other is dark pink. We used a pink base color, then added a light pink shimmer.
The great thing about rit dye creams is that they can be mixed in with any foundation to create a sheer or sheer-ish color. You can use rit dye creams with any other blush as well.
