It doesn’t matter why you are in a dark place, or how you got there. The most important thing is that you find the silver lining. I’ve had some really tough days in my life and it’s often hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if I just keep looking for something good, eventually I’ll find it.
In this blog post, I want to talk about resilience.
Resilience
Resilience is the ability of someone or something that can recover quickly from difficult conditions and resume their normal function. It’s really important for me to have my silver lining in order to maintain my own sense of hope during hard times because without that light at the end of the tunnel it would be so easy to lose myself completely. That’s not what I want though, you know? What I need are people who love me and support me through these tough moments in life.
It doesn’t matter how many good things happen when there are also bad happening too; all those bad just make a bigger story with more depth than if they were alone by themselves.

My Happiness Kissing Families
For a moment, I am so overcome with the weight of what’s transpired that it feels like my chest is going to cave in on me. – And then memories start flooding back that she was once there for me when I needed her most, how patiently and lovingly she counseled me through one of the toughest moments in my life; and now here we are again just as before but different somehow.
Somehow everything seems okay
She’s never somewhere else without coming home at all hours of day or night looking radiantly beautiful after whatever had taken place behind closed doors; no matter if I begged for an explanation or not.
