As an analyst for a technology consulting firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area and a self-confessed technophobe, I love the idea of getting a bit more technical in my life. While this may not be a popular opinion, I love the idea of being able to “get technical” and not having to rely on the rest of the world to be able to do what I do.
I’ve found that I don’t really miss my job. I like working independently, but I just don’t have time for it. I’ve come to rely more on the internet to do my work, but I’m not sure that I really miss my job. What I miss the most is being able to talk to technical people on the internet. In a lot of ways, I guess the internet is more like the outside of a computer than it is to me.
Although you can technically go into any job and get a job done, it takes more than just a computer to be able to do that. You have to be able to do what you do on a regular basis, and that involves some degree of mental and physical skills. This is especially true if you are a technical person, because you have to be able to think and act in a certain way every day.
I don’t mean to say that “technical people” are the same as “technology consultants,” since I think there are plenty of technical people who are not tech consultants. But if you’re someone who wants to work in the tech field, or if you’re someone who wants to know how to perform on the computer at a level of sophistication that’s beyond your own computer knowledge, you need to be a little bit more than just a tech person.
I know I’m sounding like an old woman, but I think what technology consultants are trying to do is to become more than just tech people. In today’s society, the internet is full of technology people who are just learning to think and behave in a specific way. It’s not like the people doing the consulting work are giving you an actual lesson in the mechanics of the system they’re trying to help you understand. In fact, it’s the opposite.
The technology consultants are really just learning how to think as a computer. They are often people who have had to learn the mechanics of how computers function. But since the internet is full of people with no experience with computer technology, they are often seen as computer morons by most people. It’s a vicious circle because if they aren’t computer people, they often start making the mistake of thinking that computers are people.
The problem in this case is because the consultants are using computers, they are often seen as computer people who think that computers are people, too. The problem is that since they are using computers, they are often seen as computer people who think that you should be using computers. The problem is that since they are using computers, they are often seen as computer people who think that everything in computer science is a computer.
I mean, I guess even people with computer degrees are seen as computer people, so that’s sort of a problem. But it’s really more of a problem if you get one of those degrees that includes the word “computer” in it, because the whole point of consulting is that you are going to have to think on your feet and not rely on computer-knowledge. If you haven’t got a computer degree to back you up, well then, I guess you’re a computer person.
I can’t tell you how long I’ve been writing about the use of technology in the tech industry. Maybe its three years or so but I’ve been writing about the impact of the internet for about six years, and I’ve been working in the tech industry for about the same period of time. I’ve been working at a technology consultant company for three years and currently I am the Manager of Technology at a tech company.
