We have a wax making kit at home. In the morning, we whip up a batch of wax for the day. Then, when the time is right, there is a full day of wax making in the afternoon. The wax is the base material for our wax melts. We melt all these waxes in the microwave, and then pour them into molds. The wax is poured into the molds, and then we melt the wax into the wax melts.
Our wax melts are all made from soy wax, which is made from the wax of the bean plant, and that’s why we call them wax melts. Wax melts aren’t just for making wax though. We also make wax tarts for our kitchen and home party and party favors.

We use a few kinds of waxes, but the most common are beeswax and paraffin. Beeswax is a type of wax that is made from beeswax and is used for candles.
