When I first saw the Gskill Trident Z RGB, I was so excited to get my hands on it. It looked like a futuristic piece of technology that would make me look like an expert computer user. After unboxing and installing the software, I quickly realized that this wasn’t going to be as easy as it seemed.
The colors were all wrong, there were too many settings to change, and for someone who is just trying to play games on their computer with some friends every once in awhile it was way overkill! I wish I would have known beforehand what to expect with this software.
Here are 15 things that I learned before using Gskill Trident Z RGB Software:
The colors will be all off no matter how much you adjust them, so when playing games like Fortnite or Over watch it was very distracting and difficult to find enemies because they blended in too well with the background. The default color settings for any game aren’t going to work out as nicely as one might hope.
It’s best just take a shortcut by downloading some presets if you want something more accurate than messing around on your own with different options until you get it right (which can take hours). This is true of most programs built into computers though, not just gaming ones.
I felt like I was constantly in a battle with the mouse and keyboard because they were both so loud.
Whether it’s gaming or just everyday use, you don’t want to have that kind of noise distracting you while trying to focus on your work. The sound is also going to irritate people around you if they’re not into it too. I would recommend investing into headsets for this reason alone but even then there will be some background noise from the fans running inside the computer case which can affect comfort level as well as clarity of voice when talking over Skype or Discord (or whatever other programs).
