Did you catch yourself saying, Why does he do that?
After your boyfriend or husband did something? If so, then this article is for you.
In this blog post, we’ll talk about why men do certain things and how to handle them.
This is a blog post about why men do certain things and how to handle them. We’ll discuss three types of behaviors: overbearing, insecure, and controlling. You may find yourself in one or more of these situations after reading this article.
Emotional tsunamis
Men can be difficult to understand at times. One second they are being sweet then the next minute they’re doing something that’s not quite right with little warning for you to prepare yourself emotionally for it before it happens- we call those outburts “emotional tsunamis.” Or maybe your boyfriend/husband has been acting differently lately? He seems stressed but he won’t talk about what’s bothering him? It doesn’t make any sense! The male mind is complicated; however, understanding is key to working through the issues that arise.
Male mind is complicated
The first thing you need to do when your boyfriend or husband does something not quite right, especially if it’s an emotional tsunami, is take a step back and assess what just happened before reacting. Sometimes they’re having one of those days where they don’t know how stressed out they are until we point it out so check in with him about his feelings- he might be feeling overwhelmed by work, angry at himself for forgetting something important recently, or annoyed because all of this time spent talking won’t result in anything productive being done.
Take these cues into account next time he has an outburst like this so that you can better understand why he did what he did instead of jumping straight into conclusions This isn’t the first time he’s done this. It feels like I’m trying to control him when all I want is for us to be on the same page about what we’re doing and why. It’s so frustrating that he doesn’t seem to get it, or at least not until after something bad happens and then suddenly everyone knows how wrong it was but forgot earlier when nothing had happened yet.
Even worse, sometimes there are things in my life where good decisions have made me feel really happy and confident feeling sure of who I am, making choices without worrying about what someone else would think of them because those were the right ones for me.
