My friends over at The Little Bit and I created this piece for our friend who got married. They are a local ceramic company and we thought it would make a great gift for ourselves. This is one of our favorite pieces and one of our favorites to use for our party decorations.
The piece is made of clear ceramic. I find that it is easier on the eyes to see the details in the work.
Since this is a handmade piece, it is not as safe as a vase. But it is safer than it looks.
I’d like to see more of this type of ornament in my home. This would make a nice stocking stuffer.
This ornament is made in our own studio. It is made by hand in a kiln. The process is quite laborious and slow, but this is a handmade gift that would be a treat.
I love how the ornament’s pattern repeats with every layer of the piece. It is so lovely.
We’ve been seeing a lot of these ceramic Christmas ornaments lately. At first I thought it was just a trend, but I guess it’s a new craze. It’s not a popular style of ornament, but it’s definitely on the rise. And I think it’s because it is so easy to make.
Ornaments are always on the rise, right? It is such a small craft that it takes on a life of its own. With so many different projects to choose from, each one is a little different from the other. I would rather have a beautiful piece of jewelry on my wrist that is not only beautiful but made by hand.
As a person that likes to create jewelry, I have to say I am in awe of the beauty of ceramic. I love the fact that it is so easy to make something beautiful. It can be as simple as a single crystal, or a piece of jewelry made from any design or material. But its also a very good way for us to express ourselves in a fashion that is unique.
The fact that I have a fondness for unique gifts is only because my mother was a crafter. Her work always had a unique, personal touch to it, and that is something that I feel we should all strive to achieve. It is something that I feel is truly the sign of a true craftsman.
