The pavement industry is quite small compared to the rest of the world, but the business is thriving. There is one company in particular that has created a product that is specifically designed to make it easier for the public to install and maintain asphalt. Their product is called applied pavement technology.

And, yes, that means all of those different types of asphalt have different properties, that is, they are not as strong as asphalt. But, they are almost all good for something. We’ve made a number of improvements on asphalt, including a new layer of material that we call “concrete grade”.

Concrete grade is one of those materials that is very hard from the outside in and has very little to no wear on the inside. This is a nice feature, not the reason that we use it. Concrete is one of the oldest building materials that we use in the world, and we have been using it for thousands of years. Even longer than that, back in the days of the Egyptians, the Egyptians used concrete for building. Ancient Greece and Rome had concrete for architecture, while medieval Germany and England were using it to build their castles and fortresses. The construction industry has relied on concrete for centuries, and we’re still making bricks and mortar today.
But this doesn’t mean you can’t use it today. If you want to use it, you can. Sure, it can be a little more labor intensive, but it’s still a lot cheaper than building everything out of stone.
It turns out that the Egyptians were quite the pioneers in concrete technology. They were the first to use it to make concrete roofs, which allowed them to lay down a much stronger roof (and thus safer). In the Middle East, the Arab Bedouin use concrete for roofing and are some of the earliest to use it for pavements. In fact, the oldest known road in the world is actually paved with the same type of material used to build roads in ancient Egypt.
