First, the most important thing to know is that diamond painting is a completely unique technique that is not related to any other type of painting. The first thing you need to know about diamond painting is that it is not a “painting” and that it is, in fact, a technique that was made famous by an artist named “Jim Dine.” The technique is completely unique to Jim Dine and is an amalgamation of his unique style, but he was never the first to use the technique.
The reason diamond painting is so popular is because it was invented in the 1920’s by a gentleman named William Fiske. The technique started as a practical joke for a young artist named Jim Dine, since Dine was in desperate need of a hobby. The joke was that the young Fiske would go to the studio of one of his friend’s and ask if he knew where Jim could get a bottle of paint that would be worth about two dollars.
Diamond painting was a kind of shorthand to be able to express a particular style with a minimal amount of color. However, Fiske was never able to get the technique to scale up to the level that he wanted, so he eventually started selling the idea to other artists. In the case of diamond painting, it was the work of a friend of Fiske named Bill Duryea, who invented the technique.

The first thing he does when he gets to the store is to take a walk around the store and buy two sets of diamond earrings, each set with a different color. He quickly realizes that the store is a pretty good place to sell new jewelry for the price he’s paying. He sets up his booth and shows everyone the new diamonds he’s picked out, and then he begins to sell them off for a profit.
This is a nice example of how a beginner can make a lot of money selling their own products, even though they’ve only just begun to dabble in the trade.
