I love this way to dress, and I love that its casual enough to wear a business suit to a cocktail party. I also love that it’s the way that I wear my hair while not being too much like I’m a college student. So, in my opinion, it’s the perfect way to wear business casual.
And it doesn’t have to be a business suit, we could also wear a loose-fitting, tank top or pair of shorts. The point is that it’s a casual way to wear your business, so be comfortable, and don’t forget to include your business card in your first email to clients. Then you’ll have a whole new clientele who will pay you by the hour, no matter what your status is.
Business casual is a way to fit in at a business that doesn’t require a lot of dressiness. But as an avid reader of the blog The Awkward Age, I couldn’t help but notice that it only has one really great rule: No jeans. That alone gives it a lot of points.
The only thing that makes this a true business casual is the rule. But it doesnt have that rule… its more like a casual way to wear your business, no matter what youre status is.
It’s a business casual because you dont actually have to wear a suit. The only thing that is mandatory for any business casual outfit is that you have a tie. And that doesnt mean its a formal business casual outfit. If you like wearing a suit, you can wear it in a casual way. If you like to wear jeans and a t-shirt, you can wear that attire in a business casual way.
In business casual, you wear only what you actually need to wear to your job, and even then you should wear something that you dont need to wear. Its a way to minimize the stress of work and allow your body to do its thing. Its also a way to not tie your shirt every time you walk by the restroom.
I think the biggest thing business casual has to offer is that it allows you to do what you have to do, when you have to do it. For example, if you are a fast-food chain manager, youre going to wear a suit to a meeting, and youre going to wear jeans to an event that involves more than just meeting people. You cant wear a suit to the event unless you have a suit on.
You have to dress up. In the same way, you have to dress down at a business meeting. If you dont, youll look like a total ass. If you do, youll look like a total idiot.
One of the ways that people wear out their suits is if they dont wash them. So if theyre wearing a suit and they dont wash it, theyll look like a complete ass. If they do wash it, theyll look like a complete idiot.
I don’t believe in the myth of the “office casual” worker. I think its a myth because that is an attitude that has been used as an excuse for over spending on things like office furniture. I think it’s very much a myth that the “office casual” worker is someone who has all the time in the world to spend on the office.
