In this post I am sharing our newest canvas lettering creation, which we received as a gift from our customers who asked us to do something with their lettering. I think this is a great way to use up old lettering and create something new.
I have a lot of friends who have done beautiful lettering like this before, but I’ve never tried this myself. I always use stencils so I can trace over the shape of a letter.
I love how the canvas lettering makes things so much easier and beautiful with minimal effort.

You may be wondering why you can’t just use a paintbrush to add some finishing detail to top of letters since you’re not using a stencil. The answer is that stencils can only be used on paper. All the paint on your letters will be destroyed when it dries.
