I absolutely love cedar birdhouses. They are more expensive than most of the others I have seen, but I think they are the best and most functional. This is one of the only ones that has a handrail up the sides, so it is easy to fit two pieces that are smaller than the birdhouse together. The cedar wood is very strong and durable, making it perfect for outdoor use.

I have a couple of cedar-and-cane birdhouses from my garden that I’ve left out in the rain for a little while longer.
