I’ve recently been doing a lot of hand-made things. I’ve made a lot of pottery, hand-sewn quilts, and I’ve been making cards since I was a kid. The first thing I’ve done with index cards was to create my own index. I love that it’s a little bit “self-conscious” and a little bit “shy”.
One thing Ive discovered that I really enjoy is doing a lot of hand-stitching. Ive learned it when I was a kid and Ive been using it for years. Ive been experimenting with using the index cards as templates for creating other things, and Ive been doing a lot of other crafty things too. Like Ive been making paper flowers and making miniature figures. Ive been sewing and making quilts too. Ive been making cards, too.
Hand-stitching is a craft that is so simple it makes you think you are doing something more than you are. I love it because I can do it all in the privacy of my own home, and it doesn’t take me long at all. I’ve been making a lot of cards now and I’m even starting to make a few of my own.
I think that making cards is something that one can learn but one can also do very quickly. I found that making card stock is a great way to hone one’s hand-stitching skills. I find it easier to make cards out of card stock than to make them out of cloth, which is why Ive been making more of them.
