The puffy paint technique is super simple, and it does require a bit of practice, but it does have a few uses.
Puffy paint is one of those things that looks like a painting, but really isn’t. It’s actually just a lot of paint that is pressed out onto an object to give the illusion of dimension and depth. If you’ve ever seen a puffy paint work, you’ll know that it’s actually a lot more complicated than that. You just need to carefully lay down your paint and allow it to dry. Then you can just go and have fun with it.
Puffy paint is the best thing Ive ever used to make a painting look like a painting. The paint was very smooth, and the texture was so smooth, it was almost like the paint wasnt even there. The paint was such a perfect match to the wood being used, that it looked like it was painted on the real wood.
The easiest way to explain this is to show you a picture of what I mean. I am going to use a picture of my friend’s house here to illustrate it. A friend of mine was having his friend’s house remodeled so he started to paint it, and he used the same technique. It was very easy to replicate the same look.

I think the point of this is that if you use the same texture and the same paint, you can’t really tell what it is. I guess it’s just like a wood texture, or like you might find in a carpenter’s shop. It’s hard to tell what you’re looking at. You can use a paint brush and be pretty sure that it’s wood. Or you can use a paintbrush and be pretty sure it isn’t wood.
I know that I am not the first person to use this method (with or without a paintbrush) but for me the results were pretty spot on. I had a hard time telling where the wood was even if I knew the texture of the wood. This is only one of the many reasons I love this method.

Another thing that I love about this method is the way it works. It lets you paint the right texture of wood without having to actually measure it. I think that is quite an important feature. If you can paint it with a paintbrush using a method that you know is accurate, it makes it easier to match colors, and it can be a lot faster when you are painting a lot.
