I’ve been trying to think of a costume to make for myself in the past few months. I have no idea why, but at some point I began to think about the costumes people wear for Halloween, specifically the ones that have to do with disability. I really felt drawn to the costumes that have to do with disability, but it was only after I began looking into the topic that I realized that there were actually so many different types that it was hard to decide on just one.
The term disability refers to a number of different conditions that affect someone’s ability to do certain things. For example, someone who has autism or an intellectual disability may not be able to make eye contact with others, but they can still communicate with others verbally and visually. In the video below, we see a woman in a wheelchair who is able to navigate the mall and walk on her own. She is also able to move around in her wheelchair, but also to make a few gestures.
Seeing her ability to move around in a wheelchair and to make gestures is a perfect example of how we as humans can change a person’s body to allow them to be more independent. It’s not always a case where a person with a disability needs to be in a wheelchair to get around. Sometimes they can get around, but it takes a little bit of work.
It’s very interesting to see how a person with a disability can be seen as more independent than a person who’s fully able bodied. They can do a lot of things their able bodied counterparts don’t, but they still have to learn to do it themselves. But more importantly, they can have a lot more fun, and at least feel as if they’re more alive.
I think this is one of the reasons why it is important to get a disability discount with certain retailers. Even if you dont have a disability, you can still benefit from being able to walk around and enjoy yourself. It seems that certain retailers are getting a lot of complaints about disabled people being forced to shop in certain stores.
I found this article on the same news site that pointed out how retailers are not being fair to the disabled, and it is not just the case with Halloween costumes. Many stores, when I go to a certain mall, don’t have any disabled people in their stores. And a lot of times, the stores that do have disabled people in their stores are not even accessible to the disabled.
I’ve been to about a dozen malls in the past 3 years, and I’ve found the same thing. I’ve seen places where a good portion of the stores are not accessible to the disabled. And I’ve seen other places where the stores are very accessible to the disabled, but the store staff does not seem to be. I’ve also seen stores which were very accessible to the disabled, but the store staff seemed to be very disabled themselves.
Ive started to wonder myself. Ive seen some places where the stores were very accessible to the disabled, but not the disabled themselves, and other places where the stores were very accessible to the disabled, but the store staff seemed to be the disabled ones. A lot of them seemed to be disabled in the same way that I am.
I think it comes down to what the disabled person is used to, and how they are treated as a group in society. A lot of disabled people are used to having people who look “disabled” but who have the same capabilities as them, while there are also disabled people who are treated as “disabled” by society in the way that I am, but who are just as capable as me.
The costumes are great. I’m not disabled, but I get dressed up pretty well when I need to, but I still get lots of compliments from strangers who think I have the “right” look.
