I have always had an affinity for ironing, and I am proud to say that I am a great ironer. Over the years I have amassed quite the collection, which I still keep on hand in my home office.

Iron on Patch is just one of the many ways that we at Arkane Games have been working on our new patch-system. For example, we’ve been putting our Iron on Patch patch name into all of the other patches we’ve been working on. We’ve also been working on some other patch-names that will give us the ability to put our Iron on Patch into other patches. These Iron on Patch patches can get really complicated though, so we’re working on sorting them out.
Iron on Patch is one of the most well-known of these “patch names.” It’s an acronym for “iron on patching.” The idea is that you can get various game-layers to patch up their game in ways that don’t screw it up. In this case, we’re patching up the game-layer so that it works better with the rest of the game.
We already have a patch for the game-layer and are working on patching up the game-layer and patching up the game-layer patch to work better with the rest of the game. We might change it so that we can patch in the game-layer as well though for the sake of consistency.
There are a lot of games that would benefit from having the game-layer in their game, but the game-layer is a game-layer. In this case, we’re patching the game-layer to work better with the rest of the game.
For those who are just learning a new game, having your “favourite” game-layer patch in for the first time is a little odd. The main reason is that usually the game-layer patch is included as an optional patch for the game.
