I am the crazy one. I always get the crazy ones. So, when I was looking for an event to take my family (and myself) to, I didn’t want to miss out on the fun. I knew that this trip would be a big deal, and I was sure that it would have nothing to do with me, the holidays, or anything else. The only thing that would set it apart would be the fact that it was tied to a traditional holiday.
I love my traditional holidays, but when you have a holiday that involves wearing a bunch of shit on your head, it always felt like a little too much. But, of course, those of us who dont wear shit on our heads feel the same way. One of the many things I love about tying dye is that it doesn’t take away from your individual style.
My favorite part of tying in dye is the fact that it is tied into the color of a traditional holiday, which allows people to tie the color of their own dress into the pattern. I know that people who like their Christmas sweaters or suits or shirts in the same color as the tie are probably all like, “That’s so random!” But, I’m not sure that tying in a different color would be a totally new thing.
Well, tying in the color of a traditional holiday is very easy because that is the traditional color for that holiday. But tying in the same color as your own dress, that takes a little bit of skill. I don’t have any great tips for tying in colors that are a little different from your own dress, but I can tell you, just tie some reds and blues together if you like.
I wish I had better tips, but the simplest way to tie that dye is to just put a little bit of red dye in one of your ties, and then tie it in the same color as the red dye and then tie a second tie in the same color, one with a little bit of blue dye in it. One of the things I love about tying in my own style is that I am able to do a lot of different things with the same tie.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left a tie at home for someone to use (or even just for themselves) because I wanted them to know that I had tied it. Even though I know this is a terrible idea, it’s always fun to know that a person is even interested in knowing just how much dye I used.
I could never tell you the number of times I’ve worn a tie I had tied to show off my tie-dyed hair (which I know is a terrible idea). But I do know that I’ve always had fun and just had fun playing with tie-dyed hair. Thats the kind of person I am.
If you have some tie-dyed hair (or dye it yourself) and want to show it off, a lot of people will be down with you doing it. It can also be fun to experiment with new, new kinds of ties, like some people who dye their hair with a different color of dye or dye it in different colors. I bet you could dye it in whatever color you want.
