I’m a hard-core v for vendetta t shirt wearer. I wear it proudly when I feel like it, and I always have a pair on my truck in case I need to defend my right to do so.
V for Vendetta is the same game as you had last year. It’s a game about vengeance, of course, and some pretty badass characters who are trying to kill each other. It’s got the same multiplayer as last year, but it’s not just an FPS. This time around it’s got a bit more of a RPG feel to it–maybe a bit of Thief meets Gears of War.
Oh, so that’s how it played last year. But it’s a little different this time around. The combat has been streamlined. Players no longer have to worry about reloading, and instead are free to move around and use stealth in the same manner as in previous games. Players are also no longer limited to playing in the same room. The ability to teleport is now an option.
There is also a co-op mode for the final boss–all three bosses in its self. This mode is just for the final boss–players can face off against each other.
The game itself will be available for the Windows platform. Xbox, PlayStation, and Mac players are all free to play from the start. And for those of you who are waiting for the Xbox version, it’s coming soon.
It doesn’t matter how you play, you can always look forward to a new Deathloop trailer coming any day now. Check out the trailer below and keep an eye out for it in the game store when it’s released on Xbox Live.
Deathloop will be available in the first quarter of 2008 for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. Its free to play, but there’s a $10 in-game microtransaction to unlock. The game is available via the Xbox Live Marketplace, and can be purchased with a microtransaction or a credit card.
I’ve had this same opinion about Deathloop, so the fact that it’s getting so well-received is pretty exciting. The fact that it’s coming on a platform that is so widely used is even more exciting because it shows the game is very popular and has a lot of potential. However, more importantly, this new trailer is proof that this is a game worth downloading if you ever wanted a good voxel shooter.
As always, v for vendetta is a really good gameplay experience that’s also very easy to learn and play. It’s a very fun experience to use a crossbow and shoot at your enemies, just because v for vendetta is fun is no reason to play it.
V for Vendetta is a stealthy shooting adventure game. There’s a lot of shooting and a lot of sneaking, and it’s all done with a crossbow. That’s all fine and dandy, but the game has a very unique gameplay experience that’s fun to play. It’s also one of the best voxel shooters I’ve played in a very long time.
