If you don’t already have a container that will do this, I would recommend the food processor. It is the least expensive solution, and can be used on a wide variety of things (like, say, baking soda).
The citric acid itself is a pretty good solution too. It’s a good solvent for cooking because it can dissolve stuff like meat. It won’t dissolve anything that is supposed to be solid. It can be used for cleaning too.
As with many organic materials, citric acid is very good for acidizing. It allows the acid to dissolve very quickly, and makes it much easier to clean. You can use it as a “cleaning medium” to remove food particles from a food processor. The more you use it, the more it will dissolve.
