What are the odds that you exist?
What are the odds that you were born to parents who would raise you with their particular set of values and beliefs, and in a culture where those values and beliefs reign supreme? And what are the odds that your life would intersect with another person’s and not just any other person, but someone who has just the right combination of qualities to make for an ideal partner or close friend?
In this article, we will discuss 11 different reasons why our lives may be here for a reason.
Number One: You’re Here To Learn Something
Every day, you have opportunities to learn something new. What if this is your life’s purpose? For example, what if it was one of the purposes for which you were born? It may be easier than we think to assume that our lives are here for a reason and that there are lessons and skills we need to acquire during our time on Earth.
As an example, some children get sick so they can become knowledgeable in how their immune system works while other people stay healthy throughout their entire lives because they never had the opportunity or desire to learn about immunity at all.
Some people go through terrible experiences for no apparent reason but could later find out those experiences changed them into I am alive to love the people in my life. I have a family, friends, and pets that need me around. And while it’s true I might not be able to see them all every day for the rest of their lives, they will always be there with me through good times and bad.
We are here because we want to matter. Our goal is just about living up to our full potential as human beings regardless of how long or short this time may last on earth. We don’t exist solely for ourselves but rather so others can live too.
