Comcast’s “slow internet” problem had been frustrating me for a long time, but now that it’s finally getting fixed for me, it’s like a light bulb went off.
It’s a little bit like when you have a slow car and it keeps going slowly for a few weeks; the problem is that you never actually see the light at the end of the tunnel. The light is there, but it’s not coming on until you’re ready to see it for the first time. It’s like you’re waiting for an old friend to suddenly show up and ask if you need a break.
You know what? I kind of like that idea. In the future, I’ll have a much slower internet connection if I need to, and I’ll just ask for a break. I’ll just wait patiently until I see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, that was one of the first things that I noticed when I started working for Comcast in 2018. It was a very quick turnaround because it is a fast-moving company. When I went to Comcast, I was new and I was a little nervous because I had never worked for a company that I was not 100% sure would provide me with all the services I needed to keep me going during my job search.
Of course, Comcast is just the first, and only, of a few different companies that provide basic Internet services. And even then, it’s a somewhat small company. But I’ve seen a lot of tech companies do a better job of making sure that people are kept up to speed.
Comcast has been very good to keep most of us up to speed. In fact, its one of the bigger companies to do that. To keep us up to speed, Ive had to have it run on a very slow dial-up connection. When I first got it, I had to use a dial-up modem, but that was a much better experience and Ive been using that connection for my entire life.
Comcast made it easy for me to keep up, I just had to plug it into my computer and start the comcast web-interface.
The internet has been slow for me lately. I use my primary e-mail account at work, and it takes forever to get my messages. However, when I use my phone, I can get messages sent to me as if they were coming from my phone’s modem. I think the only problem I have is that I have to manually type in my password each time I want to send a message.
