(Yes, I know this isn’t really much of an advanced writing secret.) But what makes it so great? And why are we using it twice over for emphasis? Simply put, when used correctly, ‘and’ can be incredibly powerful as a connector between sentences separating two thoughts or supporting both parts simultaneously with just one simple little letter.
