It’s been a while since you’ve felt that rush of love.
The kind they make movies about, the kind you thought would last forever. You don’t know what happened to your relationship with your significant other, but it feels like everything has changed and nothing is as good as it used to be. But have you ever stopped to think about how much has actually changed? In this blog post we’re going to take a look at why things might not be working out in your current relationship, and what can be done to fix them.
You’re not happy with the current person you’re seeing.
If it doesn’t feel like what they offer is enough for you, then there’s a chance that this feeling will never change and your relationship is doomed to fail no matter how hard either of you tries.
There are too many other things going on in your life right now, which means that both parties need more space than usual. You might see this as an excuse or a copout but remember: nobody feels good when their partner has taken up all the time and attention they have leftover after school/work/family obligations day in and out. Maybe one party needs some time off from dating because of work stress or family responsibilities?
Or maybe the two of you need to take a break from dating for the time being because it is too much and neither of you is happy.
You went into this relationship expecting one person could provide everything that you needed, but then realized they don’t offer what your ideal partner can give you. You might be feeling like your new boyfriend isn’t giving enough or maybe he’s not as passionate about certain things as you’d hoped?
This is an important point:
Nobody will ever have all the qualities someone else wants in their dream partner, which means there must always be compromises made on both sides when entering these relationships. Maybe instead of focusing so hard on finding somebody who has all of them, think more along the lines of whether this person makes up.
